A note from Hannah...
"Meet my family. My husband and I have 2 gorgeous children, Ella and Ethan. Ella (Eleanor) is the person that got us on our holistic journey, and therefore on the cloth diaper train. Ella was diagnosed with autism at 18 months. We had known before then that something wasn't quite right. She was delayed in meeting her milestones after 12 months, but autism hadn't crossed my mind yet at that point. I learned throughout the course of our journey with Ella, that autism is about 80% genetic. 20% is based on environmental factors, we have a general idea of some things that correlate with autism, but no one has a definitive answer as to what can cause it.
One thing is for certain - we don't live a healthy life in the way our ancestors did. Microplastics and chemicals are all around us, and around our children. The standard American diet is one of the most processed in the world, and our children are not thriving on it. I didn't know what the cause of Ella's autism was, but this gave me an opportunity to remove anything that might remotely impact my baby girl, and make us healthier as a family in the meantime. Thus began our journey of healthy eating, cutting out screen time, switching detergent, moving to more sustainable fabrics, and cloth diapering. I found out disposable diapers were not the healthiest choice for our family, and so we dove into cloth headfirst.
I immediately fell in love with cloth diapering. It had so many more benefits than I first thought it would. The cute prints, environmental benefits, lower toxicity, and even superior absorbency. No, really. Both my babies would pee out of a disposable and it was awful at containing blow outs. In cloth, once we figured out what we were doing, there were no more issues!
Since I discovered all the harms that potentially come with disposable diapers, I wanted to help spread the message to others. That turned into not just cloth education, but spreading the message about other more natural lifestyle choices. I am passionate about encouraging others to cloth diaper, and get as many diapers in as many hands as possible. The easiest way for me to do that was to start my own business! I wanted to know my product inside and out, put out some of the best deals, and have some of the highest quality on the market - in short a product I would be proud to represent.”
